The Free Land of South Greenspoint is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Governor Robert Joseph Barnett with an iron fist, and notable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 13.065 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 62%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Gambling and Beef-Based Agriculture.

Drunk drivers are sentenced to death, nudity is frowned upon, the police crack down on tax evaders without mercy, and politicians are often seen with soldiers pointing guns at their heads. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. South Greenspoint's national animal is the Armadillo, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Buck.
