Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 16.713 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Religion & Spirituality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Greenspoint City. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Beef-Based Agriculture and Automobile Manufacturing.

The government regularly hires contractors to construct high rise apartments, penurious citizens die from easily remedied ailments because they aren't 'taking enough initiative', biology and religious education classes have recently been merged, and police officers have nearly cracked a major underage astronomy syndicate. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Greenspoint's national animal is the Mallrat, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Arcade Token.

Greenspoint is ranked 61st in Texas and 33,528th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 13 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
