Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.316 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Commerce and Social Welfare are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 25%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture, Book Publishing, and Retail industries.

Scenic tours are unheard of after most environmental laws were abolished, airport security is provided by private companies, students are known to arrive at school in their pyjamas, and Jonathan Noble has just been declared ruler of Imperfectia in an international press conference. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a serious problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Imperfectia's national animal is the field mouse, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the DOCA.
