Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 13.415 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, liberal, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as the Environment and Law & Order receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Book Publishing and Uranium Mining.

Corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, abortions are routinely performed in HotRodia's hospitals, surveillance cameras are banned, and HotRodia's educational system is the envy of many and regarded as a pinnacle of academic achievement. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. HotRodia's national animal is the accelerus rapidamus, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the tequila.
