The Randomly Relevant Ratbags of Ardchoille is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Dicey Reilly with a fair hand, and remarkable for its irreverence towards religion. Its compassionate population of 13.701 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ardrigh. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Citizens are expected to be proficient in at least five languages, Ardchoille has designated Ardrigh as its capital city, the tenet of free speech is held dear, and the government is notorious for leaving citizens with almost nothing from their inheritance. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ardchoille's national animal is the domestic cat, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the brass razoo.
