I am a puppet of the Nation Casl, from Stargate.
I respectfully ask that you not allow an embassy with the System lords, as they have acted violently and mercilessly toward Stargate.
We need out allies, they only wish to spite us.
We do not normally get involved in the diplomatic affairs of other regions unless 1. Star Trek is directly involved in the conflict 2. One region is attacking the other hard without any justification. 3. One of the regions is our ally. I looked into the situation and can see no clear aggressor excepting System-Lord Baal and aside from a conflict involving a select few nations including the aforementioned one. Both Lord Anubis and yourself have contacted me, and you both make good points. However, as our alliance with Stargate has been standing for much longer, we will promptly as requested cancel our embassy with the Goauld System Lords, for now.
How does that square with the Prime Directive?
Star Trek is not the United Federation of Planets and thus is not bound to the prime directive!
